Perfect Commerce™ Adds to Global 2000 Client Base
Syngenta Selects Perfect Commerce for NAFTA ORBITool

Kansas City, Mo. November 24, 2003
Perfect Commerce, Inc. reported today that Syngenta Crop Protection, Inc., a leader in the U.S. crop protection business, has signed a contract to access the company's Open Supplier Network™ (OSN) and engage Perfect Commerce as its supplier adoption, connectivity and content manager. Perfect Commerce will power Syngenta's NAFTA ORBITool, a key component of its Global Goods and Services Procurement Approach.

Syngenta will access the OSN through its existing SAP eProcurement application. The Open Supplier Network will leverage SAP, as well as any other ERP application, to optimize the eProcurement process. The OSN accelerates procurement system ROI by providing greatly enhanced connectivity and content capabilities. As Perfect Commerce's core offering, The OSN is the largest independent supplier network in the world with 7,500 suppliers, 21 million SKUs of content, millions of transactions and billions of dollars of annual spend. "We are pleased to provide the solutions Syngenta needs in order to optimize their eProcurement effort," noted Sandy Kemper, Chairman and CEO of Perfect Commerce. "Over the years we have found that the major procurement applications can be powerful tools, however they lack the level of connectivity and content management we provide. Perfect Commerce is the optimal solution for companies like Syngenta because we create greater return on their ERP investments."

Syngenta will utilize Perfect Commerce's Search Manager™, Connect Manager™ and Catalogue Manager™ modules with its existing procurement process. Syngenta will also use Perfect Commerce for supplier adoption and activation when it adds 40 of its top suppliers to the OSN. "We are impressed with the focus and knowledge of the Syngenta team and look forward to a successful implementation," added Kemper. ORBITool is already operational in Switzerland and will be deployed in the United Kingdom, France and the United States during 2004. It will cover purchasing of all goods and services. According to Fraser Dick, Syngenta's NAFTA Project Manager, "Perfect Commerce will afford Syngenta a best in class position because of their extensive content, catalogue, transaction, and SAP e-Procurement experience."
