Perfect Commerce Expands to Europe
Opens Paris Office and Adds Top Global Financial Services
Company as New Client
Kansas City, Mo., July 19, 2004
Perfect Commerce, Inc., a leading provider of world-class On-Demand Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solutions, announced today that it has opened a Paris office to support its growing focus on European customers. In addition, the company announced that BNPParibas (BNPP), the largest and most profitable financial services company in Europe, selected Perfect Commerce to help streamline BNPP's procurement process.
In addition to supporting BNPP, the new office, led by Managing Director Martial Gerardin, is responsible for growing the company's European operations.
"Perfect Commerce is well positioned to take advantage of the developing EU market for On-Demand SRM solutions," said Gerardin. "Companies can quickly and easily deploy our technology to electronically connect and transact with all their suppliers - large or small - at a fraction of the cost of point-to-point connections."
Perfect Commerce will be providing content and connectivity services to BNPP via The Open Supplier NetworkSM (The OSN SM), the world's largest independent supplier network with thousands of suppliers, more than 21 million SKUs of catalogue content, millions of transactions and billions of dollars in transaction value. With more than 150 Global 2000 clients, the win further solidifies Perfect Commerce's position as the leading provider of On-Demand SRM services and establishes the company's physical presence in the European Union.
"With the increasing complexity and globalization of supply chain management, clients are looking for a single company to help them identify and implement new efficiencies. Perfect Commerce serves our global clients' needs on all fronts by delivering simplified sourcing-to-settlement solutions," noted Sandy Kemper, chairman and CEO of Perfect Commerce.
"The Perfect Commerce solution lowers transaction costs and significantly reduces the upfront effort needed to enable suppliers," said Arnaud Neven, process director, Global Procurement Group, BNP Paribas. "Having a single-source supplier enablement solution solves a key pain point for us in connectivity and catalogue management."
"The opening of our Paris office and the addition of BNPP are significant milestones in our drive to deliver world-class On-Demand SRM solutions in the Americas and Europe," said Kemper. "BNPP's selection of Perfect Commerce to deliver such a critical piece of its procurement process is a powerful endorsement of our capabilities to serve the European market."
