Perfect Commerce Introduces WebProcure Product at NIGP Conference and Expo

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.—Perfect Commerce attended the 67th Annual NIGP (National Institute of Governmental Purchasing) Forum and Products Exposition held in Seattle, Washington, August 18-22. The NIGP 2012 conference marked Perfect Commerce’s first appearance at a NIGP affiliated event since the acquisition of WebProcure, a right priced, end-to-end eProcurement product specifically tailored for public sector purchasing.

Perfect Commerce had an overwhelmingly positive reception at the NIGP Forum; it became clear that the market is very excited to have Perfect’s commercial procurement expertise introduced to the public market. Perfect Commerce ignited even more excitement in their discussions with participants surrounding improvements to WebProcure by adding greater functionality through existing Perfect technology.

COO Trip Shannon returned to headquarters saying, “The need to automate procurement is high in the public market to allow procurement professionals to focus on high-value activities rather than on mundane procurement tasks. WebProcure, one of the original public sector eProcurement solutions, is the ideal solution to allow public sector procurement to automate low-value tasks. Perfect is also excited to bring the public sector a best of breed public eProcurement product combined with one of the largest supplier networks in the private sector.”

Perfect Commerce is excited to be part of the next NIGP affiliated event, but is looking forward to the CPO Summit coming up November 13-14. The Aberdeen Research Group’s annual conference will be an opportunity for Perfect Commerce to showcase the private sector eProcurement solutions, PerfectProcure and PerfectSource.
